The below par performance of the Odisha Team can be attributed to the following factors:
Due to Covid restrictions all hostel/academy were closed. The archers went into this tournament without any serious practice for months together.
The archers of the team are based out from various centres and there was no camp organised before the tournament to cohesively foster team spirit and prepare for team and mixed events.
The archer’s background proved to be a hindrances to their performance in such a big ticket event. “Target panic” contributed to loss of matches at critical junction.
